While working for the school system, Candace was a member of the district’s assistive technology assessment and implementation team. During this time, she presented regularly district-wide, as well as at the state level at Texas Assistive Technology Network State Conference. Candace currently works closely with orthopedic specialists making custom splints for the upper extremities weekly. She provides additional specialized splinting/orthotics for common neurological needs/injuries and even uses her splinting skills to provide custom adaptive equipment and assistive technology options when able. When not working, Candace loves to travel and spend time with her family and dogs.
