Telehealth has opened a world of opportunities and availability of resources for clients who may have gone unreached in the past. But with these new avenues for clinical work there are also many new possibilities for ways to inadvertently breach our ethical code. This course will look at the components of telehealth that may need to be addressed to manage ethical practice.
Course Objectives:
1. This course will analyze components of telehealth that may contribute to potential ethical violations and discuss ways to manage these risks.
2. Participants will be able to identify a minimum of 3 potential benefits and risks of working within a telehealth platform to provide clinical care.
3. Participants will be able to assess their own perceptions of telehealth interventions and identify their professional values to maintain at the forefront of client care.
