Working in the field of mental health can be both rewarding and exhausting. This course will help participants explore ways to keep the joy in their work, explore avenues for work/life balance, and prevent burnout. Each participant that completes this course will walk away with a personalized plan for self-care ready for implementation.
Course Objectives:
1. Participants will be able to evaluate their perception of an appropriate work/life balance and assess their own personal and professional health.
2. This workshop is designed to help you identify elements of working as a mental health practitioner that create an ongoing joyful work experience.
3. Participants will be able to develop a personal self-care plan to assist in combatting burnout.
