THIS COURSE WILL LOOK AT WAYS TO MANAGE YOUR SUPERVISORY PRACTICES SO THAT SUPERVISION IS EFFECTIVE AND ORGANIZED. PRESENTERS WILL PROVIDE COMMON STRATEGIES FOR STRUCTURING THE SUPERVISION PROCESS FROM START TO FINISH WITH TEMPLATES FOR KEEPING APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTATION. WE WILL ALSO ADDRESS THE CERTIFICATION PROCESS AND KEY COMPONENTS OF MAINTAINING YOUR CERTIFICATION CREDENTIAL.
Objectives:
Participants will be able to identify important components of a plan for supervision and discuss strategies for collaboratively developing a plan with supervisees
Participants will be able to utilize multiple forms and documents for managing the supervision component of their practice.
Participants will be able to describe rules and requirements for supervised counselors allowing them to facilitate supervision that aligns with requirements for licensure.
