


Navigating Boundaries with Clients Who Don’t Expect, Set, or Respect Them | July 18, 2026
The issue of boundary setting is one that arises continuously within the therapeutic process. This course will assist clinicians in developing strategies for setting boundaries with clients, addressing boundary violations, managing the emotional experience of navigating boundaries for clients and clinicians, as well as implementing strategies for reinforcing this necessary skill.
Course Objectives:
1. This course is designed to help you identify the many ways that boundary issues show up with both clinicians and clients in their lives and in sessions.
2. This course is designed to help you manage the practice of boundary setting with clients while demonstrating this skill as a modeling behavior benefitting both clinician and client.
3. Participants will be able to list multiple resources for further exploration of boundary management within their personal and professional relationships
